Spring is here - Look out for Myrtle Rust
Myrtle Rust is a fungus that can destroy our native and taonga myrtle trees such as ramarama, pōhutukawa, mānuka and bottle brush. It has been dormant over the winter months due to the lower temperatures, but with spring now here Myrtle Rust could thrive and become easier to spot. If you see it, DO NOT TOUCH OR DISTURB THE PLANT. Take photos and call MPI immediately on 0800 80 99 66.

Calling all those in Wheelchairs
Hi, I'm Simon .... a 44 yr old wheelchair user who wants to meet others in a similar position as myself (particularly a woman). I've been a sole parent now for almost 18 years and my son has just left the nest, so I thought it was time to start on the next stage of my life. I have cerebral palsy that effects just my legs (kinda the reason I can't walk) sooooooo if any of you are interested in getting to know me, flick me a message. I enjoy spending time with my son when he comes to visit and my pets (1 cat and 2 birds), I also enjoy building computers as well as a bit of gaming/watching TV too.
