The traffic lights are being installed to service a new retirement complex presently under construction & for residents living on Princess Drive. You have expressed doubts as to whether the volume of traffic from this area requires traffic lights or would a roundabout be more suitable. You have also suggested a third option of traffic merging left when travelling to the city & traffic (off the hill) turning right into Beatson Road when travelling to Stoke.

Wanted ANYTHING to do with the old Nelson to Glenhope Railway Line which closed here in 1955. Old Train tickets . signs etc - Got all the books on the railway section. Please get in touch if you can help thanks
Its hard to believe up to 1955 there was a railway line thought here running from Nelson to Glenhope .How many of you remember the old line and this stop at Spring grove here in Nelson?
