Erosion causes safety concerns at Tahunanui Back Beach
A series of high tides over the weekend caused significant erosion to a section of the Tāhunanui Back Beach.
Nelson City Council group manager for community services Roger Ball said while the erosion at the beach had been occurring for decades, it was becoming more obvious as it got closer to human-built infrastructure.
