I have long been concerned by failure of local business. I wrote to Council and they said my letter was timely as they were just setting the rates. BUT I do not believe it is the rates rather the exorbitant LEASE.
This is not Auckland and the amount of lease is bound to lead to business failure and subsequent loss of variety and colour to our CBD

I have left out some lettuce and carrots and cucumber in 2 different spots so she doesn’t starve overnight and alerted the SPCA. She or he may need to be trapped. Until we sort this out you can count on me to keep her well fed.
