πͺπ·ββοΈπ’π§βπ Who inspires you to do your best?
Labour Day celebrates the fight for fair working hours and better conditions for everyone. Did you know Aotearoa New Zealand was among the first countries to stand up for the eight-hour working day?
As we take a moment to recognise the hard work happening around us, we want to hear from you: Who inspires you to give your best? Your family, community leaders, coworkers, or someone else?
NZ Post and Rachel Boyack
I see our MP, Labourβs Rachel Boyack, is shedding crocodile tears over the NZ Post closures announced today for Nelson. Perhaps Rachel has βforgottenβ it was Labour that corporatised NZ Post, intentionally turning it from a service organisation into one focused solely on profit. Her cries would be a little more credible if she could promise Labour would reopen the closed offices or, even better, reverse that Labour-directed profit-only change.
Come on Rachel, what is Labourβs real position - public service or money?

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the βunpaid shiftβ) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?
