Help Us Move – Going…. Going…. But NOT GONE!
📢It is us needing your help this time!
Citizens Advice Bureau Nelson Tasman main office is going to a new home.🚛💨 We’re going to need your contribution to help us move & make our new space welcoming!
🔹 Why Are We GOING?
After 20 years, our current cottage 🏚️ is to be demolished. While we’re grateful to Nelson City Council for many years of low rent, we couldn’t find anything similarly affordable in Nelson city.
🔹 Where Are We GOING?
We’re going to Cambridge St in Richmond, near the old Town Hall, into a building leased to us by the TDC at an affordable rate. 🏛️ We’re grateful for their support in helping us keep our services accessible to the community!
🔹 Are you GOING to help us?
Every donation helps keep CAB Nelson Tasman a welcoming and accessible place for anyone in need of free information and support. 🤝💡 We rely entirely on grants and donations—we are an independent organization and receive no government funding.
💙 Every dollar helps! No donation is too small—every contribution gets us closer to making our new home a reality. 🏠✨
🙏 Thank you for being part of our community and supporting this important move!
💰Use of your funds:
🔹 Relocation expenses-safely moving our resources and furniture.
🔹 Setting up a functional and welcoming space for visitors and volunteers.
🔹 Upgrading technology to continue providing seamless service.

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
