Central Heating System with 8(!) DeLonghi Radiators, Buffer Tank & Thermostat

Louise from Redwood Valley

Please note: The marks on the unit are dirt only, not rust.

From a 2011 new-built used over 10 winters:

Content of the system:
Inverter Air Source Water Heat Pump with pGD interface. Technical data are available from the pictures.
Eight DeLonghi high quality radiators of varying widths with Siemens thermostats on each to regulate water flow/heat. These DeLonghi radiators are painted under a CEP (cathodic electrophoresis-) process and have an aesthetically pleasing appearance, are efficient and have an even surface.
Huge 180 litre (I think it is) buffer tank with safety valve, circulation pump and equalising tank.
Salus programmable room thermostat ERT 50 wireless.
Manuals.

When we built our 248sqm house in 2011 we wanted to have a good heating system. This system is. However, it is not suitable to us and our lifestyle anymore, as its best performance is when it is continuously running. Us not being at home all the time and used to cooler temperatures, we only switched it on when required, which needs an hour of pre-heating of the water. This system is not made for switching it on and off as required. Therefore, it is ideal for a family with children at home throughout the day, or even offices. Radiant heat is nowhere near as concentrated as that from a standard heat pump, but much more even and mellow throughout the whole house.

Purchaser must arrange a qualified trades person to disconnect the plumbing, seal outlets on walls (inside and out) and disconnect the electrical supply at his/her cost and take away all parts. The re-painting of the inside and outside walls will be done by the seller. The drained pipes can remain in the walls. Purchaser will have to install new ones at the new location.
The system is located in Redwoods Valley's GALEO Estate between Nelson and Motueka. Inspections are welcome. Ph.: 03 5445677 or PM.

All items sell as are. However, this system is fully functional, and we have been using it throughout winter. Last maintenance check by "Chapmanz" two years ago.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
