Let's Get Camila to Wellington!! Christmas Eve Crime - Let's Help Camila. (Admin please delete if not allowed)

Eva from The Brook

Hi Community!

You may have seen the post about Camila who had all her money and ID stolen on Christmas Eve here in Nelson.

We have now (with Camila's permission) set up a givealittle page where you can read all about it, and help her out, so she can at least get her ID back.

(If you want to know more about Camila she is happy to have a chat with you at the Free House, where she works).

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
