Nelson Tasman Hospice is in need of 2 volunteers- 1 for Stoke and 1 for Richmond. To coordinate our annual Community Trees of Remembrance (TOR) in the lead up to and over the period of 2nd – 9th December 2022 at these locations. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
