Just a quick reminder to check expiry dates and the price you are actually pay when shopping at supermarkets. In these covid times I understand that the vast profits made by these shops has taken a bit of a hit but that is no excuse for selling out of date yogurt or salad that will be past its best in 24 hours. There are many other examples. That was just this morning. Rather low practice.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
