Rock Band

Following posts on neighbourly we have a little rock band in the making - we've got a drummer, keyboard player, vocals and couple of guitarists. We'd love to hear from anyone who would like to play/learn the bass guitar. You might be a guitar player who is keen to dabble a bit more with both instruments? Or even someone who is willing to put in time to learn and grow into a dedicated bass guitarist.
The band (no name yet) is in the early stages and trying out all sorts of classic material. This isn't a group of elite musicians but rather a group of interested enthusiasts learning new skills - not least of which is playing together!
We meet regularly in Mapua on a Tuesday night for a 60 - 90 minute practice session. If you are interested you can contact Mike on ness.psychology@gmail.com - it would be great to hear from you.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
