Maybe it's time to realise that you're never going to use that snowboard or ski jacket, and that you really do have one too many heaters. Whatever it is, take a picture and put it on Neighbourly for locals to see.

The good news is, keeping up to date with the Covid vaccine can help protect you from serious illness. It’s free. And recommended for you and many others as long as you haven’t had the vaccine, or Covid, in the last 6 months.
To book your vaccination, or talk to your healthcare provider.

For the last few weeks we have reverted back to the smaller van style ebus in our narrow winding Brook Valley. I cannot stress enough what a difference it has made to no longer have the huge 30 seater giants trundling up and down our peaceful valley.
No longer does my home shake and shudder as they go past half hourly. No longer is the narrow winding road up the valley congested by these buses immense size and their inability to manoeuvre round tight corners, bridges, etc. No longer do I shake my head as I see yet another huge empty bus go past and know that my hard earned rates are propping up this folly,
Surely these last weeks are proof in itself- the smaller style van bus serves out community perfectly well and does not (and never did) need changing! If a 12 seater Is not being filled to capacity then why waste money on running a 30 seater ? Surely this is not just financial sense but also common sense? I would love to hear your thoughts 😊
UPDATE:
Due to now being at home I have been able to count how many times the huge empty buses are going past- 72 times every day !!!!!!! That’s 504 times a week and 26,308 times a year ( less public holidays). This beyond ridiculous - this madness must be stopped!!! What is the electricity costing us ratepayers to power these? Why does my house creak and crack when they thunder past? How is the infrastructure holding up - the roads, roundabouts, bridges, turnarounds, etc? Nelson’s public transport system needs investigating as someone is making some very poor financial decisions with our money…..
