Fun and laughs guaranteed! Nelson Rugby Club and FC Nelson are joining forces to bring you weekly quiz nights at the rugby clubrooms on Hathaway Court (next to Trafalgar Park). $10pp, all welcome! The bar will be open and the fire will be roaring. First quiz Tuesday, June 7, 6.30pm, raising funds for the u13/14 FC Nelson teams competing in the Christchurch International Cup in July. Raffles, prizes etc. See you there :)

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
