HELP!. My wife, elderly, arthritic Chesapeake Labrador, Meg, and I need a 2-3 bedroom rental (circa $500.00 p.w.) in the Nelson area by October. We have excellent references, are non smoking quiet retirees. Expat English residents. Two decades in NZ. 40 years married. Daughter with Kiwi husband in Wanaka (and our 3yr old granddaughter). Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Cage /trap wanted to borrow
Would anybody round Stoke have a cage / trap I could borrow to catch a small rabbit that is hanging around our property a lot. I imagine visits most houses in Coleridge place. Enjoying my new vege plants 😡
