this may save a lot of money getting fixed... i live in a self contained caravan... 2 days b4 heavy rain in richmond..ants invade..2 days ago may solar batteries went dead..so i reached in and turned on the charger. wednesday was beautiful and batteries fully charged but come dark..immediately went flat, short circuit, on opening the battery area, i found dead and live ants all over the charger...sprayed fly spray..the did a full power vacumn all over. the charger lights came on and by morning...everything including the computer worked normal. googled ;ants causing shorting' and found that ants can cause these problems.
NZ Post and Rachel Boyack
I see our MP, Labour’s Rachel Boyack, is shedding crocodile tears over the NZ Post closures announced today for Nelson. Perhaps Rachel has ‘forgotten’ it was Labour that corporatised NZ Post, intentionally turning it from a service organisation into one focused solely on profit. Her cries would be a little more credible if she could promise Labour would reopen the closed offices or, even better, reverse that Labour-directed profit-only change.
