Free Citrus Fruit

I have been admiring the thoughtfulness of two of our neighbours who have been putting the harvest from their citrus tress (one grapefruit, one lime) outside their front gate ‘free to good home’. Earlier in the year someone put out box after box of apples

It has brought to my attention the fair number of citrus trees laden with fruit I see when out walking. Our place is ever only overloaded with grapes (easy to give away) and then feijoas (less so) but I wondered if there is anyone else who might care put their excess fruit outside their gate in these times that some are finding a bit difficult?
