Did the government make the right call over Rocks Rd?
The Government's 10-year includes funding the long-awaited Hope Bypass. However, it doesn't include Rocks Rd, which, under a Labour government plan, was set for improvements including a widened walking and cycling boulevard.
While Labour MP Rachel Boyack has said the road is in "dire need of some love," Nelson's mayor Nick Smith said addressing Rocks Rd was "challenging", and a "distant dream".
What do you think? Was it the right call?
