Quiz nights!
Fun and laughs guaranteed! Nelson Rugby Club and FC Nelson are joining forces to bring you weekly quiz nights at the rugby clubrooms on Hathaway Court (next to Trafalgar Park). $10pp, all welcome! The bar will be open and the fire will be roaring. First quiz Tuesday, June 7, 6.30pm, raising funds for the u13/14 FC Nelson teams competing in the Christchurch International Cup in July. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Calling all those in Wheelchairs
Hi, I'm Simon .... a 44 yr old wheelchair user who wants to meet others in a similar position as myself (particularly a woman). I've been a sole parent now for almost 18 years and my son has just left the nest, so I thought it was time to start on the next stage of my life. I have cerebral palsy that effects just my legs (kinda the reason I can't walk) sooooooo if any of you are interested in getting to know me, flick me a message. I enjoy spending time with my son when he comes to visit and my pets (1 cat and 2 birds), I also enjoy building computers as well as a bit of gaming/watching TV too.
