As a proud Nelson local, Jackie is thrilled to be able to step into a role that allows her to be a part of her community. And drawing on 25 years of experience in Aged Care, it’s a profession that she truly has a passion for.
Jackie believes that great care means relaxed residents and families, and a team of staff that are engaged and happy. It’s that belief in the human side of care that drew Jackie to Green Gables.
“Our clinical care is excellent, but we believe in going beyond the standard medical model to cater to the holistic needs of our residents, so it’s all about the lifestyle - the beautiful environment, dining experience and adding all the extra touches. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Calling all those in Wheelchairs
Hi, I'm Simon .... a 44 yr old wheelchair user who wants to meet others in a similar position as myself (particularly a woman). I've been a sole parent now for almost 18 years and my son has just left the nest, so I thought it was time to start on the next stage of my life. I have cerebral palsy that effects just my legs (kinda the reason I can't walk) sooooooo if any of you are interested in getting to know me, flick me a message. I enjoy spending time with my son when he comes to visit and my pets (1 cat and 2 birds), I also enjoy building computers as well as a bit of gaming/watching TV too.
