Spirited Conversations begins the year on Wednesday 22 March with internationally-renowned Europe-based peace educator and peace and disarmament campaigner Alyn Ware, speaking on
Peace, the climate and the United Nations:
How civil society can make a difference
Building peace, abolishing nuclear weapons and protecting the climate are three critical issues for humanity requiring cooperative action. Alyn will discuss key civil society initiatives in the United Nations General Assembly, International Court of Justice and the Human Rights Council.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
