Terrible Taxi Experience with city taxi
I have used Nelson City Taxis lately due to my disability. They have amazing friendly drivers who have all been very helpful. However since the new year they have changed the booking system and it is very difficult to get any help when booking. They use to send a txt when the driver was close now you just have to stand and wait until someone shows up.
Today I ordered a taxi to take me home from the Riverside Pool and I waited and I waited. I called their number several times and could not get any help and only once was I able to talk to someone who said they were busy and she had no idea when I would be picked up. I was lucky to have a friend walk by and she was able to take me home. I was waiting, in the rain, for over an hour. This is inexcusable and I will be switching my business to a more responsible and better run company.
Step by step for a great cause!
Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
