Yesterday, we celebrated 40 years of serving the amazing Nelson Tasman community! 🌟 Since opening our doors for the first time on October 8, 1984, we've been offering free services, support, and advice to all. 💙 Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey, and to those whose hard work and dedication built the foundation we stand on today. Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
