Starting the new year
Hope every one had a great Xmas and a nice break.
I had a great time with my wee puppy on a farm up Taranaki, a weeks worth of gardening and I will be back trading next week.
Time to consider what is on the agenda for this year,if houses renovating is the plan then consider upgrading your windows to double glazing. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
