Stairlift Installation

I have bought a stairlift second hand for my home and was wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations in finding an electrician who could alter it and install it?
I assumed (and one never should....I know !) that it would be a given that anyone company could but I've had no luck finding one.....
So I'm hoping someone might of come across a likely candidate?
