As we're encouraged to see our own backyard, snack and lunch stops are a must, but are you buying or packing a picnic to take a break at a rest area? Before cafes started popping up in tiny towns, families would load up the picnic basket and pile out of the car into the fresh air for a bite - and we've heard we might be steering away from scanning in and instead, cracking open a flask like the old days.
