We are well on our way to our target of $75,000 by the end of the year, but we are not there yet. The needs of horses and farm maintenance are a constant financial demand while recent riding income has been patchy at best, we still need lots of help to get to our target. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
