Nelson businesses encourage customers to bring their own containers
A new movement has started on the battle to reduce plastic and waste: BYOC - bring your own container.
Taking a bag of empty containers when she goes shopping has become second nature for Kat Willcocks. The Nelson woman uses her own containers to buy groceries from Bin Inn and for takeaways from her local Indian restaurant. It's the next step from reusable coffee cups, and the practice is being encouraged in a "Bring Your Own Container" campaign from the Nelson Environment Centre. Read more

I have left out some lettuce and carrots and cucumber in 2 different spots so she doesn’t starve overnight and alerted the SPCA. She or he may need to be trapped.
