Putting the Fun in fundraising
Hi
I thought you might be interested in a fundraising event that we have coming up for Electrix Cheerleading.
The great Dave Upfold, Stage Hypnotist. Saturday 11th August 7 - 9 pm at Nelson College for Girls.
As seen on TV3's "Campbell Live" program, Dave Upfold is known for his energetic, engaging and enthralling live shows. Dave's shows feature audience participation and utilise the power of the mind and suggestion. With no two shows ever being the same Dave has been entertaining audiences around the world with his hypnosis comedy show for over 20 successful years.
All who come to his shows laugh so much and feel so good that they may even walk away with a renewed sense of humanity, and generally a sore stomach from so much laughter.
This is one comedy stage hypnosis show you must see. Laughter is the best medicine.
We are raising funds to help our athletes get to competitions in the North Island.
Tickets can be bought directly through me, via electrixcheerteam@gmail.com or on www.eventfinda.co.nz...
I hope to see you there
Regards
Maxine
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.6% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
25.9% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.5% ... It is complicated
A Neighbourly Riddle! Don’t Overthink It… Or Do?😜
