Get Involved โ€“ June 1st to 30th ๐Ÿค

The Team from Neighbourhood Support New Zealand

This month weโ€™re rolling up our sleeves, putting up our hands, and saying โ€˜YESโ€™ to giving our time and skills to projects that make Aotearoa a better place to live.

As a mostly volunteer led organisation, our members know first hand the value and impact that a single volunteer can make in our communities. Imagine then how much can be achieved when several volunteers or even an entire street or neighbourhood decide to work together to achieve the same goal!

Whether you plan to coordinate your own volunteer driven activity, take part in one thatโ€™s already been setup, participate in National Volunteer Week (16-22 June), or simply show your own volunteers some extra love this month, know that every bit of effort to give back is a priceless investment in all of our futures.

Want to share your thoughts?

Let us know how youโ€™re getting involved this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:

Poll: ๐Ÿค– What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: thereโ€™s no such thing as a โ€œsafeโ€ job anymore ๐Ÿ›Ÿ๐Ÿ˜‘

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
