For the contrary opinion I reckon the vast majority of business's in the hospitality and accommodation trades would welcome Napier becoming a Mecca for recreational and medicinal use of cannabis much as in Amsterdam but in the South Pacific.
Hopefully the referendum will relegate to history obsolete indoctrination such as "reefer madness" still evident in some older people. And for those from the blue spectrum let us not forget that Don Brash called for an end to the war on cannabis about thirteen or so years ago.
