Heretaunga Women's Centre Wednesday Wellness Lunchtime Talks

Hi there,
Ladies are Welcome this term to come along to Wellness Wednesdays at the Heretaunga Women's Centre. Talks start at 12:15pm and finish at 1pm.
The Women's Centre is close to the Hastings Library and the Art Gallery and across the road from Baldwins Jewellers by the lights.
This post is to highlight the talk on Wednesday 1 August @12:15pm about how to stay well during periods of grief and bereavement. It will also talk about tasks of grieving and the differences between a funeral director and a funeral celebrant. You are never too young or too old to join with others to discuss how to stay well in difficult times.
For more information please open the enclosed Poster.
You are welcome to bring your lunch. Bring a friend. It will be low key, informative and time for discussion. Koha for the Women's Centre - the Talk is free.

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls

ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.

🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.

Remember, banks will:​​
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes​​
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device​​
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
