State of Emergency in Napier
Hi Neighbourly folk, we hopes you are all dry and well.
Napier received double its average monthly rainfall in the space of 24 hours, leading to widespread flooding and slips, and triggering a state of emergency.
Although the weather has improved, there is another rain watch for this afternoon.
