Hand Knitted Evening Gown using a 1933 pattern
I have spent 406 hours knitting the gown so far and still have half of the skirt and all of the cape to knit. I'm starting to fret as I have two weeks to finish all of the knitting, wash and block the pieces before delivering it to Creative Arts Napier on the 12th of February for the exhibition beginning on the 14th.
It will be on display and for sale there until the 6th of March. If you are in Napier for the Art Deco festival, please visit Creative Arts Napier to view the local arts and crafts on display and enjoy a complimentary glass of local wine at the exhibition opening on Friday, 7-9pm. CAN is on the other side of the carpark that's across the road from the County Hotel

A riddle to start the festive season 🌲🎁🌟
I'm a fruit. If you take away my first letter, I'm a crime. If you take away my first two letters, I'm an animal. If you take away my first and last letter, I'm a form of music. What am I?
