We meet at 10am on that the Napier Library on the first Saturday of each month. The Library provides us with a free cuppa which is welcome now it's suddenly gotten cold. It's time to get those unfinished projects out of the cupboard. Our group is at all levels and there is someone who can help if yu get stuck. My own preference is for vintage knitting and I hsve lots of lovely patterns I can share. See you on the 4th of May,

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
