We set up Hawke's Bay Friendship Group because we believe that there is a strong need for newbies in the Bay to mix mingle and get around as well as long term residents who also long for friendship and new adventures.
It is a way of introducing new people into the area but our events are at all times open to anyone young old , newbie or born and bred local. The only criteria you require to belong is to be Human and want to socialise.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
