Gift wrapping

Miriama from Napier South

I was horrified to hear that the fantastic and helpful assistants at the local pharmacy were abused at the Christmas 'special' night in 2019. As a result, no wrapping was offered this year. Fair enough. However, what sort of cretins go to a special night with an amazing range of products at generously discounted prices and have the nerve to abuse staff who have been asked to wrap items? Most of us just waited patiently, having basic intelligence to realise that the delays were because the gift wrapping is skilled, appreciated and takes time. Too bad if you have to wait, learn to be patient, it wont kill you!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
