I have a couple of spaces left at the Napier Craft Group which meets on Friday morning 10.30 - 12.30 at Trinity Methodist Church on Clive Square. Entry is a Gold coin Koha and I provide resources and a craft project for people to do each week. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
