Darning lessons needed

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

Is anyone able to teach me to darn?

My mother never got around to it and my darling son has pulled holes in the toes of every single one of his brand new school socks. 10 socks, all holed. And given the cost of them, I’m not planning on buying anymore for at least the rest of the year.

And it’s not because they’re too small, it’s his method of pulling them on so tight to stop non existent bunching, that has done it.
