massive $1 day sale at "Threads"
There is a lovely op shop called Threads in Karamu Road (near Heretaunga Street ) having a two week sale where almost all stock including shoes - priced at $1 per item. Well worth a look - is quite a special shop with a special mission. The road works in the street presents a challenge to both shop owners and shoppers - don't be put off by the detour to enter the shop - the workmen are very helpful. Happy shopping.
