Volunteers wanted
The Faraday museum is a real gem in our community, and the numbers of visitors and schools is increasing.
We are currently looking for some new volunteers to keep it humming.
So, if you love chatting to people, love tinkering, or getting your teeth into new projects.
Perhaps you are newly retired and miss those smoko breaks, have a trade and looking to support something in your community, or maybe you are new to the area and looking for something to do while the kids are at school.
Whatever the reason we need you.
We are looking for volunteers who are able to offer @ least 3 hours each week.
If this sounds like you, then please get in touch to find out more.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.4% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.3% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.3% ... It is complicated
