Short term accommodation available: Studio apartment, Napier
Lovely self contained studio suitable for 1 person or a couple, for 2 weeks in January in Napier South (Vigor Brown St). Ideal if you've got family visiting and not enough room, or know someone who needs a cheap holiday in the Bay! Dates are 5 - 19 January. Fully furnished (queen bed) and use of pool. Linen and towels can be provided if needed. The studio is to the rear of a family house, so quiet, respectful and friendly non-smokers only. The rate is: $275 single or $295 couple per week. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
