MetService has issued a strong wind watch for Hawke's Bay south of Hastings.
Valid: 9 hours from 6:00pm Wednesday to 3:00am Thursday.
Forecast: Westerly winds may approach severe gales at times.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 10:00am Wednesday 25 Sep 2019.
