Red Cross Journey - 1 week left to register!
It is the final week to sign up to Red Cross Journey 2019. You can sign up as an individual or as a team. It is a great team building activity and a way to get active.
Red Cross Journey will be kicking off with a Scavenger Hunt from the Hastings service centre on Sunday the 1st of September. There will be a sausage sizzle courtesy of the Mad Butcher and some great prizes to be won, but to join the fun you have to be signed up for the event... plus the 1st 100 participants to raise $100 will receive a Red Cross Keep Cup.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
