Dog Registration Fees 2019 Napier
Has anyone else had no response to emails sent to Napier City Council regarding dog registration? I have emailed them on three separate occasions to ask about the Responsible Dog owner option to significantly reduce the fees, but I have had not one reply to any of my emails. Is this a deliberate ploy to achieve the higher fees? I am aware the cutoff for this was apparently 31 May but I didn’t receive my fees notice until 6 June. I would be interested if anyone else has had similar problems.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
