We had a great market last Satruday in Meeanee Hall despite the poor weather. We had lovely coffee and snacks from heaven's Caravan and a ymmy sausage sizzle and it was warm and inviting inside so we were all set! Next Market is on 1st September and it will be coming into spring so it is not to be missed. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
