Art exhibition - Jan FitzGerald and Leonard Lambert
We are taking the bottom floor of this lovely venue - Hastings Community Arts Centre, 106 Russell St (next to Westermann's Cafe and opp railway line) - with my husband's work on one side, and mine on the other. Please venture in and take a look or make a morning of it shopping in Hastings with a friend and having a coffee next door to the Arts Centre. Exhibition starts this Monday, runs for a fortnight, and the gallery is open Saturdays also.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
