STILL MORE BOOKS
If wet tomorrow the Free Book Day will be cancelled. BUT each Saturday throughout September from 10am - 3pm outside The Little Book Shop, 51 Latham Street there will be around 30 - 50 boxes of books free for the taking. Each Saturday's books are different from the previous weeks and will be sorted into fiction, children's and non-fiction books. Enquiries Phone (06) 83 2403. Thank you.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
