Calling for Applications- Customer Choice 'Bags For Good' Programme

The Warehouse Napier

We are looking for more amazing community groups to join the ‘Bags for Good’ programme. The programme focuses on supporting local community groups that are helping the young people and families of their community. All of the money comes from the plastic bags sold at the checkouts and is a great way to fundraise money. If you or anyone else you know would like to apply please fill out this form www.thewarehousegroup.co.nz... . Applications close on the 27th of November.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
