Elderly lady looking for rental
Am posting on behalf of an elderly friend. She is looking for a long term rental, 2 bedroom preferably, in Greenmeadows or Taradale area. Very careful and quiet tenant. Has no pets and she is a non smoker. She has been our neighbour for the last 5 years, and we will be sad to see her go, but the house she is in is 2 storey and very large. Too much for her now. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
