Stall of the Month
Magpie Market features a Stall of the Month from the regular stall-holders at the market. Christine Hawke's Rugman runs the Chocolate and Craft Cottage stall every month. This is where you can buy home-made chocolates and all the resources you need to make your own. She also has a lucky dip for the kiddies, lovely cards for every occasion and a range of knick knacks at very affordable prices. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
